The ICT Functional Skills course will build on your KS3 learning. You will develop and prove your ICT competence in the main applications.
This course will provide the opportuntity to achieve .5 GCSE by completing a computer based exam (pass or fail). Your teacher will also need to confirm your competence in the Functional Skills standards. These cover your practical ability and your knowledge/understanding of the use of IT and related technology.

This course aims to provide information and guidance for pupils who have chosen ICT as an option subject. This is CiDA.
AiDA (Award in Digital Applications) D201 is the first unit of the CiDA qualification and must be completed before attempting any further units.

This course has been designed for pupils who have not chosen ICT as an option subject. It will allow all pupils to continue to develop their ICT capability throughout Key Stage 4. (Years 10 and 11)
It will comprise:
- Advantage DiDA
- Keyboarding - 'touch-typing'
- Software Tasks
- ECDL Modules
