A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and therefore anyone arriving at school in non-uniform may expect to be sent home to get changed.

Uniform for Boys and Girls

F.P.H.S. Black Blazer with school badge (only available through official supplier).
Trousers and/or skirt in black (tight trousers or skirts are NOT suitable for School).
V-neck jumper (NOT cardigan) in plain black or with official logo, or the official sweatshirt with logo.
Shirt in white (NOT leisure/polo style or too tightly fitted).
Tie in official School pattern (black with diagonal purple stripes spaced by thin silver stripes).
Black shoes of a safe and suitable type for school (NOT trainers or boots).  No high heels because of safety.
Plain white or black socks (un-patterned) or black or natural coloured tights (un-patterned).
For safety NO JEWELLERY should be worn (apart from small ear studs or sleepers, though pupils may be required to remove these for some activities).  A watch is permitted.
Make up and extremes of hair colour and style are not suitable for school.
A change of clothes, safety and suitability are the essential requirements of sports wear.


P.E.
A minimum kit is:


White T-Shirt with official school design (GCSE pupils must have a black polo-shirt with School Logo).
Black P.E. skirt or black shorts .
Plain black tracksuit bottoms.
White sports socks.
Towel.
Trainers (NOT black soles for in the Gym and definitely not the shoes normally worn in school).
Plain black sweatshirt/tracksuit top (NOT school jumper), for other indoor sports,  e.g. hockey.
Football/hockey boots (according to the sports to be played).

A gum shield is essential for Hockey and Rugby.


Optional:
Black raincoat with School logo.



Notes
1.    All items of clothing/equipment must be clearly marked with the pupils’ name.
2.    No excesses of fashion are permitted.
3.    Please note: Items not listed above may be temporarily confiscated.  They will be returned once parental conformation of ownership is obtained and at a time that remains at the discretion of the school.


Falinge Park High School expects all pupils to take a pride in their standard of uniform and in their school.  Pupils need to understand that they represent the school through their appearance at all times, both on the premises and on the journey between home and school.
