Opening Doors; Unlocking Potential

Holderness Year 10 visit – Thursday 19th April 2018

On the hottest day of the year so far, over 60 students and staff visited the Holderness Coastline for the first Geography GCSE Field Visit.

We visited four locations along the Holderness coastline which is the fastest eroding coastline in Europe.

Mappleton, Hornsea, Skipsea and Flamborough Head were all spectacular to visit. Students worked exceptionally hard to collect their primary data on whether physical and human processes are changing the coastline at Holderness.

It was a long day for everyone but very enjoyable in the sunshine.
