Opening Doors; Unlocking Potential

The Bletchley Park Inter School Coding Workshop at FPHS

We were delighted to receive a visitor in the form of Natasha from Bletchley Park once again last week as we continued our three term project engagement in Mathematics and Coding with the famous establishment. We were joined by students from Saint Ambrose Barlow School in Swinton in a two hour session which saw children cracking mono-alphabetical substitution cyphers using frequency analysis. After that, students even tackled a few poly-alphabetical ones too! Many thanks to Mr Ahmed, Deborah Davidson, Natasha Riley from Bletchley Park and our lovely guests from St. Ambrose Barlow School.
