Falinge Park High School
Opening Doors; Unlocking Potential
The Great Science Share
On Tuesday 18th June, pupils from Falinge Park High School took part in the Great Science Share for Schools at Number One Riverside alongside pupils from 13 other primary and secondary schools from across Rochdale. The Great Science Share for Schools is a national campaign where students get to share their science questions and investigations. This year there were 60,000 pupils from across the UK taking part. At the Rochdale event, our pupils led a science investigation in to rocket balloons, performed a piece of drama based upon the Periodic Table and a series of science busks. The event was organised by Mrs Unwin alongside Mr Lowe from Lowerplace Primary School and Helen Seymour from Rochdale Borough Council. Everybody at the event had a fantastic time and loved sharing their science investigations.
