‘The Recall Project’: Session 3 at Abraham Moss School

Year 9 and 10 FPHS students paid a visit to Abraham Moss Community School in North Manchester for the third session of ‘The Recall Project’ where learners have developed their understanding of the AQA English Literature Poetry Anthology through creative learning. The sessions also offer students the chance to remember key lines from the poems in innovative ways. In this third session, students learnt and performed a version of the poem ‘The Emigree’ by Carol Rumens and created a sound and movement collage for the poem ‘Exposure’ by Wilfred Owen. The final performances were highly evocative and they reflected the commitment and careful scrutiny of our learners. Well done to all involved.
