Year 8 Geography visit to Malham, Yorkshire Dales.

Approximately 240 students visited Malham in the Yorkshire Dales over two days on May 11th and May 14th. The students visited the main attractions of Janet’s Foss, Gordale Scar, the Limestone Pavement and Malham Cove.

Students were looking at how the limestone scenery has had an impact on the landforms and how these landforms were formed. All students thoroughly enjoyed the visited which was supported by the amazing weather on both days. Students were very resilient in whilst walking the 4.5mile route and showed their love for the outdoors.
