Pupil Premium
At Falinge Park High School, Pupil Premium is part of our school-wide vision to provide a transformational educational experience, empowering students to be personally and academically successful and to make a wholly positive impact on our Academy, our community and the wider world.
We believe that all students, regardless of background, should be supported and challenged to achieve high rates of academic progress, have outstanding opportunities to develop personally, and be fully equipped with the skills to be successful in life after school.
Students who are eligible for the Pupil Premium Funding are those who have been in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the previous six years, children who are currently looked after, or those children who have previously been looked after having left local authority care through adoption, special guardianship order or child arrangements order. Further information about eligibility can be found here.
FPHS also receives the Service Pupil Premium for those students who have at least one parent who is serving in the armed forces, has at least one parent who has died whilst serving in the armed forces and receives a pension under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme or the War Pensions Scheme, or the student has been registered as a ‘service child’ on the January census at any point since January 2016 (an Ever6 Service Child). The Service Pupil Premium is separate to the Pupil Premium that the Academy receives for Disadvantaged Students.
