Uniform Expectations from September 2025

Our school uniform expectations are designed to be comfortable, practical and cost effective

Our uniform policy is deliberately designed so that children can choose between blazer/tie or summer shirt.

Students Can Wear

All pupils MUST wear:

  • Plain black V neck jumper with school logo
  • Plain black skirt/trousers (Leggings, jeggings, jeans and sports tracksuit bottoms are not allowed)
  • Plain black tights/plain black or white socks
  • Shoes need to be flat, completely plain black leather/imitation leather shoes or trainers with only small reflective markings
  • Headscarves (if worn) must be plain black or white

With one of the following combinations:

  • Plain black V neck jumper with school logo, plain white shirt with a collar, house tie

or

  • Plain black V neck jumper with school logo and a house shirt with collar

A school blazer with logo may also be worn as an optional extra.

House colours and/or a logo must be visible at all times and represent the house a pupil is in no matter what uniform combination they are wearing

Additional items pupils need to bring to school

  • A school bag that fits a number of A4 sized books 
  • A pencil case with pens, pencils, a rubber, a ruler and calculator 

We have some further specifications you need to be aware of 

  • Only small sleepers or studs are to be worn in ears/nose because of health and safety reasons 
  • Acrylic nails are not permitted because of health and safety reasons
  • Patterns shaved into hair are not permitted 
  • Mobile phones, AirPods/headphones etc. are not allowed in school and if seen, will be temporarily confiscated until the end of the day to ensure pupils fully engage with their learning
  • Outdoor wear must not be worn inside the school buildings

We try to make our uniform as accessible as possible for families but please, if you are struggling to provide any items or equipment, please get in touch.

PE Kit 

A change of clothes is essential for PE lessons. Safety and suitability are the essential requirements of sportswear.

PE uniform expectations are set out below:  

  • Plain black T shirt
  • Plain black Sport shorts / plain black Sports leggings
  • Change of suitable footwear (trainers/football boots should lessons be on the field) 
  • Shin pads
  • A plain black hoodie/outdoor shell top can be worn in colder/wetter months
  • No logos are permitted on PE kit

In addition, we allow pupils to wear:  

  • Plain black sports leggings underneath their PE shorts  
  • Plain black under/base layer underneath PE t-shirt
  • A plain black outdoor shell top can be worn in colder/wetter months

Pupils should remove all jewellery before participating in PE lessons. Any jewellery that cannot be removed should be taped to ensure it is safe. 

School Hoodies

School Hoodies are no longer part of the main School Uniform. Instead, these can be worn as part of the PE Kit or as a piece of outdoor wear on a pupils journey to and from school.


THESE HOODIES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SALE SO ONLY
PUPILS WHO ALREADY HAVE ONE WILL HAVE THE OPTION OF DOING
THIS.
